For the purpose of the bible study we use the Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE) for its accuracy and its propensity to stay close to the original at the risk of sounding terse or dry.
Another very good edition we always recommend is the Navarre Bible from the University of Navarre in Spain. The rich commentary in this edition will be of great profit to anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of Scripture.
